Our newest addition to the Deux Rose service lineup is the Plasma Pen! Plasma Pens are used for Fibroblast treatments and this service is something we are extremely excited about! Fibroblast treatments help with wrinkles, age spots, discoloration, stretch marks, and sagging skin. Fibroblast treatments help to tighten and rejuvenate the skin in targeted areas. Here is a breakdown of commonly asked questions about Fibroblast!

What Is Fibroblast?

Fibroblast treatments are administered by the Plasma Pen. The Plasma Pen helps to deliver controlled and deliberate heat to the targeted areas. The heat from the Plasma Pen creates a microdot, this is not the same as a burn. Plasma heat creates a reaction to the skin to tighten and rejuvenate.

What Areas Can You Fibroblast?

Just about any area can be Fibroblasted that meets the criteria of the reason for the treatment. Common areas are, eyelids, under eyes, crows feet, above the lip, forehead, brow lift, smile lines, jowls, stomachs, elbows, knees, etc.

Who Is A Candidate For Fibroblast?

Fibroblast treatments are available to clients 18 years or older who are experiencing fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, sagging skin, or discoloration. Clients who are a 3 or higher on the Fitzpatrick scale will need to have a test patch administered prior to an appointment to determine their eligibility.

Does Fibroblast Hurt?

Prior to the treatment, a client is numbed using our medical grade numbing cream. The client is then “sprayed” lightly with the plasma pen over the desired treatment area to help the skin absorb a second numbing treatment. Once the patient is finished with the second round of numbing cream, they will have a relatively comfortable experience.

How Long Are Fibroblast Appointments?

The length of the treatment is dependent on the size of the area that is receiving the treatment. Smaller areas on average take 2 hours and larger areas can be up to 4 hours or longer if multiple areas are being done.

How Much Do Fibroblast Treatments Cost?

The cost of Fibroblast treatments varies with the size of the treatment area. Typically smaller areas are $400, medium areas are $600, and large areas are $800+. The price will be determined during an initial consultation with our service provider.

How Long Do The Results Last From Fibroblast Treatments?

The results of Fibroblast treatments are similar to those of cosmetic surgery. Results can vary from 3 years to longer depending on how the client’s body reacts to the treatment.

What Should I Expect After My Fibroblast Treatment?

It is common for the microdots to be fully gone 5 to 7 days post-treatment. This could be longer depending on how far away the treatment area is from the heart and swelling at the site of the treatment area is completely normal and will subside over the next few days. Clients should wait until the microdots have completely fallen off to resume their product routine. The full result of the Fibroblast will be fully healed 12 weeks after their treatment.

During the time when the microdots are present, clients should refrain from wearing makeup or other products unless administered in the aftercare provided by the service provider.

Clients should anticipate wearing and SPF 50 for three months post-treatment as their treatment area fully heals.

Will I Need More Than One Fibroblast Treatment?

Clients needing more than one treatment is entirely possible depending on the area and severity of the ailment that is being treated.
