What Are Cheek Fillers?
For clients who are wanting to add definition to their face to achieve a contoured look, dermal fillers can be administered. These fillers are also Hyaluronic in nature and are specifically designated for “sculpting.”
What Does The Procedure Involve?
The procedure of cheek fillers can take about 45 minutes to 1 hour. After consulting with the injector, the injection site is then determined and a local anesthetic is administered to numb the client before the injection. Once the filler is applied, the injector will then sculpt the filler for optimal results. There is minimal discomfort with cheek enhancement, this is largely in part to the local anesthetic.
What Can I Expect From The Procedure?
After a client has received cheek filler, the end result will be a visible enhancement of the cheek bone area. There’s practically zero downtime. The procedure takes about 15 to 20 minutes total and the numbing will start to wear off after about 15 minutes. You can go about your daily life afterward but shouldn’t make any big plans (like a wedding or an important event) for at least three days in case you bruise. Results can last 14-18 months.
When Do You See Results?
Results from cheek enhancement fillers can be seen immediately. The filler will be moveable for about two weeks, after this point the filler will be fully settled and results can last about 18 months.
