What Are Chemical Peels?

Chemical peels are skincare treatments that help to improve the overall texture of the skin. Do Chemical Peels Hurt?

Chemical Peels will cause a slight warming sensation. When applied, the peel is quickly swabbed over the skin with a cotton ball or cotton swab in movements called passes. The strength of the peel will determine the amount of passes that are applied. Once finished, a cold towel is placed over the face to neutralize the peel.

Is There Downtime?

With chemical peels, it is not uncommon for the skin to “shed” or peel. This may occur for a few days as older skin cells are making way for new, rejuvenated skin.

When Can I See A Difference?

You will see a difference a few days after the peel and will have optimal results when done regularly.
