    Three Ways to Correct Sun-Damaged Skin

One of the best defenses against sun damage is a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. These threads prompt your skin to produce collagen where they’re placed, which can help treat sun-damaged skin.     How Serious Are You About Your SPF?

    The best way to combat premature aging is to take preventative measures. We find that the simplest way to do this is to wear your SPF. Now, you may be rolling your eyes, but wearing daily sunscreen is the most cost-effective way to prevent sun damage, prevent premature wrinkles and most-importantly it helps with preserving your skin’s overall health. Keep in mind, wearing sunscreen is not just for the face, it is also important to cover other areas of the body that are exposed to the sun on a consistent basis like your hands, arms, neck, chest, back of the ears, etc. 

    If you’re not consistent with your sunscreen, here are some hot takes that you need to know: 

    1. Wearing sunscreen should not be reserved for outdoor activities only. Exposure to the sun and free-radicals are experienced on a daily basis. Even blue light from televisions, cell phones and computers cause damage to the skin. Wear it everyday and re-apply accordingly based on the activity! 
    2. Wearing an SPF 30 is not enough protection. It just isn’t. Sunscreen is most effective with an SPF 50 and higher. 
    3. Mineral sunscreen or “physical sunscreen” is better for you than chemical sunscreen. 
    4. If there is an SPF in your makeup or moisturizer – is it not enough protection against sun damage.

    After three years of clinical operations, Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery is proud to announce that we have expanded into a bigger and beautiful location! 

    If you’re one of our existing patients, you’ve become accustomed to our charming three-room practice located near Historic Downtown Las Vegas. For the past three years, we have turned our little Downtown business into an iconic medical spa in the Las Vegas area. As a result, we have moved into a new location as of June 8, 2021 and have resumed operations! For those who have not seen our new clinic yet, we encourage you to come visit the new Déux. Our new address is 9340 W. Martin Avenue, is double the size of our former home and is truly a testament to how far we have come as a brand.

  • Anti-Aging With Microneedling


    At Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery we can’t stress enough how skincare treatments and cosmetic injections go hand in hand when it comes to successful anti-aging. One of our favorite facial treatments to combine with your injection routine is Microneedling. 

    Microneedling treatments address fine lines, textured skin, scarring and promote collagen production. Results from the Microneedling treatments can be seen after just one treatment, but for optimal results, you’ll want to receive three to four sessions. 

    At Deux Rosé, we use The Skin Pen for Microneedling treatments. It is the only FDA approved Microneedling pen on the market and it’s imperative to ask your service provider if they’re using The Skin Pen if you’re seeing a provider outside of our clinic. This ensures a safe and effective result. 

    Microneedling appointments take about 45 minutes, half of that time is spent numbing and going over pre and post care information with your service provider. After your appointment, you may experience redness immediately after but it typically subsides after the first 24-48 hours. You can receive Microneedling treatments every four to six weeks, we strongly recommend getting on a consistent service routine for optimal results.

    At Deux Rose Beauty Refinery, we take pride in our facial options due to their ability  to treat an array of skincare concerns with flexible add-ons for customization. However, one of our most popular facial add-ons is the jelly mask! 

    What are jelly masks? The official name is a hydro-jelly mask due to their unique composition. Jelly masks come in a powder form and are activated by water thus turning the powder into a jelly-like consistency. The brand of jelly masks that are offered within our clinic are created by the prestigious brand, EstheMax. Jelly masks come in a plethora of options that vary in their benefits. From the Hyaluronic Acid mask to the Egytpian Rose mask, there is a mask for everyone! 

    Why receive a jelly mask? Jelly masks act as a seal for hydration and infuse the skin with nutrients. Our estheticians can even blend these masks to meet your custom needs.   • Dermaplaning and HydraFacials

    At Deux Rose Beauty Refinery one of our favorite treatments to offer is a HydraFacial with a Dermaplane add-on. If you’re unfamiliar with either of those treatments, we’ll explain to you why it’s our favorite! 

    A Dermaplane treatment is an exfoliation treatment that uses a scalpel to gently remove vellus hair and dead skin from the face. Dermaplane treamtents are painless, relatively quick and instantly brighten dull skin. By removing this barrier on the surface, it significantly increases  the skin’s ability to absorb a secondary treatment, which is why it’s perfectly paired with a HydraFacial. 

    HydraFacials remove impurities that are embedded in the skin using serums that are uniquely engineered just for the HydraFacial machine. Once the skin has been purified, the HydraFacial treatment concludes by infusing the skin with antioxidants that leave your skin healthy, happy and radiant.
