Transform Your Skin: The Benefits of SkinPen Microneedling Explained

In the vast world of skincare and aesthetic enhancement, SkinPen Microneedling stands out as a revolutionary technique, promising not just to rejuvenate your skin but to transform it. Dive into the depths of this minimally invasive procedure and uncover the science, benefits, and incredible testimonials that make SkinPen Microneedling the go-to choice for those seeking flawless, vibrant skin.

    What is SkinPen Microneedling?

SkinPen Microneedling, often hailed as a bridge between dermatology and cosmetic care, utilizes precision-engineered needles to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin. This process stimulates the body’s natural wound healing processes, vastly increasing the production of collagen and elastin. The result? A dramatic improvement in overall skin texture and firmness, not to mention a noticeable reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks. It’s this pivotal interaction between the device and your skin’s innate reparative abilities that sets SkinPen Microneedling apart in the world of aesthetic treatments.

    The Science Behind SkinPen Microneedling

At the heart of SkinPen Microneedling’s effectiveness lies a blend of cutting-edge technology and the body’s age-old healing mechanisms. When the microneedles puncture the skin, they initiate a cascade of natural responses, firstly involving the release of growth factors. These growth factors play a critical role in the regeneration of skin cells, effectively telling your body it’s time to ramp up collagen and elastin production. As science delves deeper into these processes, it validates the efficacy of microneedling as more than just a cosmetic treatment but as a cornerstone in dermatological health and rejuvenation.

Top Benefits of SkinPen Microneedling for Your Skin

The appeal of SkinPen Microneedling goes beyond its minimally invasive nature, encapsulating a myriad of benefits that cater to a broad spectrum of skin concerns. For starters, it’s remarkably effective in the battle against fine lines and wrinkles, offering a more youthful appearance without the need for surgical interventions. But that’s just the beginning. Acne scars, which have long been a challenge for traditional treatments, show marked improvement, as do the size of pores, stretch marks, and overall skin tone. Even those with sensitive skin find refuge in the gentle, transformative touch of SkinPen, making it a universally appealing choice for anyone looking to enhance their skin’s vitality.

What to Expect During a SkinPen Microneedling Session at Deux Rose Beauty Refinery

Entering a SkinPen Microneedling session, patients are often curious and slightly apprehensive about the procedure. Rest assured, the process is meticulously designed for comfort and effectiveness. SkinPen treats your skin with an advanced numbing cream ensuring minimal discomfort. During the treatment, which usually lasts about thirty minutes, you might feel slight pressure or a vibrating sensation as the device works its magic. Most patients report a feeling akin to light sandpaper moving across the skin. Post-session, it’s normal to experience mild redness and swelling, akin to a sunburn, but these symptoms typically subside within a day or two.

Post-Treatment: Caring for Your Skin After Microneedling

Proper post-treatment care is crucial to maximizing the benefits of SkinPen Microneedling. Following the session, your skin will be more susceptible to sun damage, making a high SPF sunscreen a must-have in your skincare regimen. Additionally, keeping the skin hydrated with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer helps facilitate the healing process. Clinicians also advise against using any harsh topical treatments or exfoliants in the immediate days following microneedling, as your skin is in a delicate state of repair. By adhering to these guidelines, you ensure not only the longevity of the treatment’s benefits but also the health and vitality of your rejuvenated skin.

Real Results: Before and After SkinPen Microneedling

The transformative effects of SkinPen Microneedling are not just theoretical but visible and tangible. • The Ultimate Guide to Understanding SkinPen Microneedling Benefits

The Ultimate Guide to Understanding SkinPen Microneedling Benefits

    SkinPen Microneedling before and after

At Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery we believe in a holistic approach to anti-aging. Microneedling is an innovative way to keep your skin on looking great all year around. Let’s take a deep dive into the transformative world of SkinPen microneedling; a revolutionary technique that promises rejuvenation for a myriad of skin concerns. Whether you’re battling scars, wrinkles, or seeking a brighter complexion, this guide unveils the secrets behind its growing popularity.

    What Is SkinPen Microneedling?

SkinPen microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure acclaimed for its ability to rejuvenate the skin. Utilizing a device equipped with fine needles, it creates micro-injuries on the skin surface, stimulating natural collagen and elastin production.

The beauty of this technique lies in its simplicity and efficiency. It bypasses the need for harsh chemicals or extensive downtime, making it a favorite among those seeking effective and straightforward skincare solutions.

    Key Benefits of SkinPen Microneedling

One of the most compelling advantages of SkinPen microneedling is its versatility. Suitable for a vast array of skin types and concerns, it meticulously addresses issues ranging from fine lines and wrinkles to acne scars and skin laxity.

Beyond surface-level improvements, the procedure bolsters skin health on a cellular level. By promoting collagen synthesis, it enhances skin’s density and resilience, imparting a vibrancy that is both seen and felt.

Moreover, microneedling serves as an excellent conduit for skincare. By creating micro-channels in the skin, it increases the absorption and efficacy of topical treatments, delivering nutrients directly where they’re needed most.

    How Does SkinPen Microneedling Work?

The procedure begins with the application of a numbing cream to mitigate discomfort. The SkinPen is then gently glided across the skin, its microneedles penetrating to precise depths.

This controlled injury to the skin triggers a natural healing response, ushering in a cascade of growth factors and the production of collagen and elastin. It’s a prime example of harnessing the body’s innate capabilities for cosmetic enhancement.

    Ideal Candidates for SkinPen Microneedling

SkinPen microneedling welcomes a broad spectrum of individuals, ideal for those with concerns about aging, texture, scars, or overall skin appearance. It’s particularly effective for early signs of aging, or for anyone aiming to maintain skin vitality.

However, it is important for candidates to have realistic expectations and understand that while improvements are noticeable, optimal results often require a series of treatments.

What to Expect During and After Treatment

During the procedure, clients often report a mild prickling sensation, but find the treatment to be surprisingly comfortable thanks to the pre-applied numbing cream.

Post-treatment, one can expect mild redness and swelling, akin to a light sunburn. These symptoms typically subside within a few days, unveiling the initial stages of improvement shortly thereafter.

For those considering SkinPen microneedling, the journey to revitalized skin begins with understanding these foundational aspects. Armed with knowledge and realistic expectations, individuals can embark on this path with confidence, looking forward to the transformative benefits that await.

Embarking on a SkinPen microneedling journey can be a pivotal point in your skincare regimen. With its myriad of benefits, from enhancing texture to erasing years of damage, it’s no wonder why so many are turning to this cutting-edge treatment. Let this guide serve as your roadmap to a refreshed, more youthful glow.

  • Botox for preventing wrinkles

    Botox for preventing wrinkles

In our perpetual quest for a fountain of youth, many have turned to Botox®, not just to erase the signs of aging but to prevent them before they start. But what really lies behind these injections that promise to keep our skin smooth and youthful? Let’s dive into the facts, debunk the myths, and explore how Botox can be used as a proactive measure against wrinkles.

    Understanding Botox and Its Benefits

Botox, a name derived from Botulinum toxin, has long been a cornerstone in aesthetic medicine. Often misconceived solely as a corrective treatment for noticeable wrinkles, its benefits extend far broader. By temporarily paralyzing muscles, Botox does more than smooth existing lines; it preemptively combats the formation of new ones, making it a go-to choice for those looking to maintain a youthful appearance.

Beyond aesthetics, the diverse applications of Botox in the medical field are profound. From alleviating migraines to mitigating excessive sweating, its versatility underscores the therapeutic potential that lies within this neurotoxic protein, demonstrating its benefits beyond skin deep.

How Botox Works to Prevent Wrinkles

The principle behind Botox’s wrinkle-preventing capabilities lies in its ability to relax the facial muscles responsible for expression lines. Regular facial movements, such as frowning, smiling, or squinting, lead to the development of wrinkles over time. By inhibiting muscle contractions, Botox essentially pauses the aging clock, allowing the skin to remain smoother and less prone to the creases that lead to permanent wrinkles.

The strategic administration of Botox targets specific muscles, ensuring that results are not just effective but also natural-looking. This tailored approach ensures that expression remains unaffected, sidestepping the feared ‘frozen’ look associated with over-treatment.

The Ideal Time to Start Botox for Wrinkle Prevention

It is our philosophy at Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery, there’s no universal ‘right’ age to start Botox. Dermatologists often recommend considering preventative treatments in one’s late 20s to early 30s, or when fine lines begin to linger even when the face is at rest. Starting Botox early may reduce the amount and frequency of treatments needed later, as earlier intervention helps to maintain the skin’s youthful resilience.

It’s crucial to consult with a certified professional who can assess your skin’s condition and recommend a personalized treatment plan. This ensures that Botox is used effectively, complementing your unique facial anatomy and aging patterns for optimal, natural-looking results.

Age is but a number, and the decision to start Botox should be based on individual needs and goals rather than societal pressure or age milestones. A proactive conversation with a healthcare provider can help determine the most suitable time to begin treatment, tailored to your skin’s specific needs.

Common Myths and Facts About Botox

One prevalent myth is that Botox is unsafe and leads to an expressionless face. However, when administered by a licensed professional, Botox is both safe and effective, offering results that enhance natural beauty without compromising facial expressions.

Another widespread misconception is that Botox is only for the elderly, or those with advanced signs of aging. On the contrary, Botox’s role in preventative skincare highlights its relevance for a younger demographic looking to delay the onset of wrinkles.

Lastly, the myth that Botox treatments are painfully invasive deters many. In reality, the procedure is quick, with minimal discomfort, often compared to a small pinch. The ease of treatment, combined with no required downtime, makes Botochance topreventrinkles an appealing option for many seeking to preserve their youthful appearance.

Botox, with its evolving use for preventing wrinkles, symbolizes more than just the pursuit of youth; it represents our desire to control how we age, on our own terms. Whether you’re contemplating your first treatment or considering it as part of your anti-aging arsenal, understanding Botox’s preventative power is key to making informed skincare decisions.

  • Needles vs. Cannulas: Patient Safety 101

Needles vs. Cannulas: Patient Safety 101

So filler is your new best friend – we totally relate. Apart from how much you love your results, how much do you know about filler? Did you know it can be administered using different tools? Most patients assume filler is always injected with a needle, but that might not actually be true! The two most common (and safe) ways to inject filler is with a needle or a cannula. To learn more about the difference, keep reading.

    Needles vs. Cannulas: The Pros

Traditionally, dermal fillers have been injected into the face using a needle; however, cannulas have become increasingly popular over recent years, specifically with larger areas of the face. As the popularity of cannulas continues to grow, how do nurse injectors decide between the two methods when treating a patient? Tools we use to inject the face – Needles and Cannulas

    (Needle vs. Cannula)

Needles are short and rigid with a sharp tip. Needles come in different sizes, your injector chooses the appropriate needle based off a variety of factors, such as the type of product and the area being treated. Needles allow for multiple entry points and they’re excellent for accuracy and precision. Needles are ideal for administering a specific amount of product in a very specific area, such as in the lips or nose. Cannulas are long and flexible with a blunt tip. Cannulas are available in various lengths, and the correct length is chosen based on the treatment area and type of product. Cannulas allow for fewer entry points and typically less swelling & bruising. With cannula use, a pilot hole is created prior, which is frequently used as the only entry point. With a needle, there is a new entry point each time your nurse injects. Cannulas also provide maximum flexibility, allowing injectors to maneuver into different treatment areas with a decreased risk of vascular compromise. Commonly treated areas with a cannula include the jawline and under-eye area.

    Needles vs. Cannulas: The Cons

While cannulas have a variety of benefits, cannulas are not ideal for treating targeted, smaller areas with maximum accuracy. Additionally, cannulas have a blunt tip, which means a pilot hole must be created (with a needle) before the tool can be inserted. The use of cannulas can also make it difficult for nurse injectors to reach deeper levels of the skin or tissue, which is occasionally needed. The biggest risk associated with the use of needles is the possibility of vascular occlusion, which is when filler is injected into the blood vessel, blocking the flow of your bloodstream. When this occurs, it can lead to a variety of severe complications. However, there are specific steps that injectors take to minimize the risk of vascular occlusion. The use of needles can also lead to more bruising and swelling, as your injector frequently has to re-insert the needle during treatment. For patients with a low pain tolerance, this can become uncomfortable for them.
In the end, there are benefits to both methods, depending on the area being treated, desired results and medical opinion of the injector. At Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery, our injectors use both tools as needed and are properly trained with both needles and cannulas… patient safety is our top concern! • Three Ways to Correct Sun-Damaged Skin

Three Ways to Correct Sun-Damaged Skin

Long, lazy days lounging in the sun once gave you perfectly bronzed skin. Fast forward 20 years later and now you’ve noticed that your care-free days of unprotected time in the sun have taken a toll on your skin across your face, hands, arms and general body. Signs of sun-damaged skin include uneven pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots, saggy skin and more. Fortunately, there are a few options available to improve or entirely treat your sun-damaged skin. Keep reading to learn more about a variety of sun damage treatment options available to you.

    Skincare Products

First, it’s important to emphasize that in order to reverse sun-damaged skin, you must protect your skin from further damage. One of the best defenses against sun damage is a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. At Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery, our experienced advanced aestheticians typically recommend sunscreens such as the SunBetter Advanced Mineral Protection, which provides an extraordinary level of protection against UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays.

(Alto Advanced Mineral Protection Sunscreen by SunBetter)

After you’ve guaranteed you’re protecting your skin from further damage, let’s discuss products that can begin to repair your skin. Two of our flagship products that work to correct and repair sun damage are  SkinBetter’s Even Tone Correcting Serum and SkinBetter’s Alto Defense Serum.

    SkinBetter Even Tone Correcting Serum:

This correcting serum by SkinBetter improves the appearance of brown patches, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and discoloration. Additionally, this product brightens and evens the appearance of skin, while improving the appearance of yellowing that often accompanies the look of hyperpigmentation.

    SkinBetter Alto Defense Serum:

This product defends your skin against free radicals and the visible effects of skin aging due to environmental stressors, including blue light and pollution. In addition to daily antioxidant protection, Alto Defense Serum improves the appearance of uneven skin tone and redness.

Other benefits of this product include enhancing vitality, improving the appearance of skin tone and luminosity and reducing the appearance of skin redness. This product combines Vitamins C and E plus an additional seventeen antioxidants.

    Laser Treatment

In addition to skincare products, laser treatments have also proven to be effective in combatting sun damage. One of our most popular laser treatments for sun-damaged skin is the IPL treatment.

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments, AKA photofacials, uses broadband light to improve the appearance of sun spots, age spots and skin texture. A handheld device channels light energy to target specific parts of your skin. IPL treatments are non-invasive treatments that are both effective and affordable.

    PDO Threads

As we previously mentioned, sun damage can cause sagging skin in various areas of your body. Thankfully, PDO threads are here to help! Smooth PDO threads are ideal for skin rejuvenation. These threads prompt your skin to produce collagen where they’re placed, which can help treat sun-damaged skin. For patients struggling with saggy skin, barbed PDO threads can be used to lift and tighten the skin, reversing and repairing the damage caused by the sun. (A consultation is required prior to all PDO treatments.)

  • Microneedling vs. RF Microneedling

    Microneedling vs. RF Microneedling

When it comes to successful anti-aging methods, skincare treatments and cosmetic injections go hand in hand. Microneedling, a type of collagen induction therapy, has become an increasingly popular treatment. Another up-and-coming skin treatment is RF Microneedling. Although these treatments have similar names, there are some significant differences between the two. To learn more about the difference between Microneedling and RF Microneedling, keep reading.

    What is Traditional Microneedling?

Microneedling is primarily great for overall skin rejuvenation. This popular treatment addresses fine lines, textured skin and scarring while simultaneously prompting collagen production. At Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery, we use the FDA-approved SkinPen for Microneedling treatments to ensure a safe and effective result. Results from the Microneedling treatments can be seen after just one treatment, but for optimal results, we typically recommend three to four sessions.

    (Microneedling with the FDA-Approved SkinPen)

    What is RF Microneedling?

Radio Frequency (RF) Microneedling is primarily used to tighten the skin, in addition to diminishing scarring and stretch marks. RF Microneedling also offers the same benefits as traditional microneedling, such as addressing fine lines/wrinkles, skin texture and more. RF Microneedling is a skin tightening treatment that uses radio frequency energy through fine point needles to deliver heat into the deeper layers of skin. When this heat is administered, it prompts collagen production and skin tightening in that area.

    (RF Microneedling Treatment)

    So What’s the Difference?

As we’ve discussed, both treatments are a type of collagen induction therapy. Additionally, both treatments can be applied to areas other than the face, such as the neck, décolletage and more. They both pierce the skin and generate micro-wounds, which jumpstarts your skin’s collagen production and helps achieve drastic improvement in your skin concerns like texture and appearance… but what’s the difference? The primary difference between these treatments is that Microneedling is ideal for patients looking to rejuvenate their skin, while RF Microneedling is ideal for patients looking to tighten their skin.
Wait – it gets better! For the month of October, we’re offering 10% OFF Microneedling and RF Microneedling treatments exclusively at Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery! • The Ultimate Guide to Chin Filler

When you think of injections, chin filler isn’t typically the first thing that comes to mind… but maybe it should be! Lip filler is an increasingly popular treatment, but did you know we frequently recommend chin filler in the same seating? Why do we recommend getting chin filler with your lip filler? Keep reading to find out!

    What is chin filler?

Similarly to other filler treatments, chin filler is a non-surgical procedure that adds structure, definition and/or symmetry to both your chin and entire facial profile. Like most dermal fillers, chin filler is comprised of hyaluronic acid, an acid that naturally occurs within your body. As we begin to age, we begin to lose volume throughout our face, which can result in asymmetry, loss of facial balance and more. Chin filler benefits include defining the jawline/chin area, adding balance to the face and creating a more pronounced chin (which presents a more youthful look).

    (Chin Filler Before & After)

Why do we recommend receiving chin filler and lip filler in the same seating?

Say it with us… facial balance matters. When you begin to augment one area of your face, it can cause your facial profile to become disproportionate. For example, when you receive lip filler, you’re adding volume to your lips. When this volume is added to your lips, it can cause your chin look more recessed and your overall profile to look less defined. When receiving filler in other areas (such as the nose or lips), our nurse injectors will often times recommend chin filler as well, in an effort to maintain proper facial balance.

How much does chin filler cost?

At Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery, one syringe of chin filler begins at $750; however, more than one syringe may be required to achieve optimal results. Chin filler pricing typically ranges from $750-$2,000 (depending on the amount of product used) and the amount needed is determined through an injection consultation. Interested in booking your consultation? Click here!

When will I see my results?

Chin filler results can be seen immediately! While you will see an immediate difference, it typically takes two weeks for you to see your complete results, as the filler will settle during that time. On average, chin filler can last anywhere between 6 to 12 months, dependent on several factors such as metabolism, type of filler used, etc.

What are some of the potential side effects?

As with most injection procedures, common side effects can include, but are not limited to: swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness. With chin filler, we recommend avoiding hard chewing for a few days following your procedure due to the tenderness in the area. When it comes to aftercare, you can expect the chin to likely feel sore and heavy for a few days. We advise avoiding exercise for 72 hours and staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water. If you experience prolonged pain or discomfort, please contact our office at 702-683-2831.
If you’re unsure if chin filler is right for you, schedule a consultation with one of our experienced injectors to discuss your treatment plan, aesthetic goals and much more. Ready to book your chin filler appointment? Give our office a call at 702-683-2831 or click here to book online today!
  • What is Sculptra? How It Works, Cost & More!

What is Sculptra? How It Works, Cost & More!

If you haven’t heard of Sculptra yet, get ready to learn all about this increasingly popular treatment! Although Sculptra has been around in Europe since the late 1990s, it didn’t received FDA-approval in the United States until 2004; however, it’s finally gaining the recognition it deserves. If you’re looking for Sculptra treatments in Las Vegas, look no further, as our trained and knowledgable injectors are here to help!

What is Sculptra and What Does It Do?

Sculptra is a cosmetic injection commonly used to rejuvenate your face and treat volume loss; however, it’s much more than your traditional filler. After Sculptra is injected, it prompts your body to begin producing collagen where the product was placed, building results long after the procedure. Sculptra is actually a poly-L-lactic acid that promotes skin thickness in areas where hollowness and sunken areas have appeared, such as the face and buttocks. Commonly treated areas include the cheeks, forehead, jawline and much more. Sculptra can even be used to achieve a non-surgical BBL! Box and Vial of Sculptra

    (Sculptra Treatment Before & After)

    How Much Does Sculptra Cost?

At Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery, Sculptra costs $800 per vial. Depending on the treatment area, more than one vial might be required to achieve optimal results. For specific pricing and/or to learn about our current specials, you may contact our front desk at 702-683-2831.

How Do I Know How Many Vials of Sculptra I Need?

A general rule of thumb is that you will need one vial of Sculptra per every decade you’ve been alive. Obviously, this is just a rule of thumb and does not account for excessive volume loss, desired goals, etc. Each patient is unique in their individual needs and results vary depending on a number of factors such as metabolism, frequency of exercise and more. To find out exactly how many vials are recommended for you, we recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our experienced nurse injectors. Click here to schedule yours!

    (Cheek Treatment with Sculptra)

How Long Does It Take for Sculptra to Start Working?

Due to the fact that Sculptra is not your typical hyaluronic acid filler, most patients do not see immediate results. Sculptra builds collagen within your own body, so you will see your results over time. A gradual change up to 12 weeks after the injection is typical for most patients.

What are the Side Effects of Sculptra?

The most common side effects of Sculptra include, but are not limited to: minor bruising, swelling and redness at or near the area of the injection site. For any concerns and/or questions, we recommend contacting our office at 702-683-2831.
With Sculptra treatments, patients can see results for up to two years, which is much longer than typical filler treatments! Our nurse injectors have your back- and your face- so you can rest assured that you’ve chosen the ideal location for your Sculptra treatments. To learn more about Sculptra, give us a call or click here to book your consultation today!
  • Smile Line Filler FAQ: All of Your Questions Answered!

Smile Line Filler FAQ: All of Your Questions Answered!

So you’ve heard of it all: lip filler, cheek filler, even under eye filler, but have you heard of smile line filler? An increasingly popular treatment, smile line filler restores volume loss and corrects static lines by your mouth and will soon become your favorite treatment. Keep reading to learn the answers to all of your questions!

What even is smile line filler?

The lines in between your mouth and your nose created by smiling are your smile lines, also known as the nasolabial folds. As a result of aging and/or excessive smiling, these nasolabial folds can become static lines, which means they become permanent, regardless of your facial expression. Fortunately, nasolabial filler can restore or improve your smile lines, giving you a more youthful and radiant look. What are Marionette lines? | News | Dentagama

What do I need to know before my treatment?

Like all other injectable treatments, there are important steps you should take prior to your smile line filler appointment. First, make sure you choose a skilled injector, as the smile lines can be a complex area to treat. Here are some important instructions to follow before your smile line filler treatment:
    • Delay the use of blood thinning medications 3 days prior to appointment
      • Avoid any Aspirin-based products 3 days prior to treatment, such as Ibuprofen, Neurofen, Naprosen/Naprogesic
    • Stop taking blood thinning vitamins, such as:
      • Vitamin A, C, and E, Fish Oil, Krill, Garlic, Ginseng, Ginger & Green teas for 3 days prior to appointment
    • Avoid the use of topical products such as Tretinoin (Ret-A), Retinol, Glycolic Acid, or any “anti-aging” products 2 days prior to treatment
    • Avoid both alcohol and caffeine 24 hours prior to treatment
    • Ensure no dental work is scheduled within the 2 weeks prior to appointment or 2 weeks after to avoid risk of infection
    • No makeup on appointment day, be sure to come in with clean skin!
At Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery, we numb patients with a topical numbing cream before treatment for optimal comfort. More than one syringe of filler may be required to achieve desired results.

I just got my smile line filler, now what?

Congratulations on your new enhancement! Following your treatment, side effects like bruising, swelling and tenderness are common. It’s also important you do not sleep on your face for at least two weeks to ensure the product does not get moved. Here are some important after-care instructions we recommend:
    • No exercise for 72 hours
    • Ice 2 minutes on, 10 minutes off for swelling and soreness (Not direct ice), you want to maintain blood flow in the area
    • Tylenol is recommended for discomfort
    • Arnica tablets are recommended for bruising
    • Avoid the use of topical products such as Tretinoin (Ret-A), Retinol, Glycolic Acid, or any “anti-aging” products for 24 hours post injection
    • Avoid facials, laser treatments, chemical peel treatments, etc., for 2 weeks post-injection
    • Avoid applying pressure on the area for 2 weeks post injection

  • Cheek Filler Guide: Everything You Want to Know

Cheek Filler Guide: Everything You Want to Know

Did you know there is a way to add shape, structure AND symmetry to your face? While there are many options, one of our favorite solutions is cheek filler! Cheek filler is becoming increasingly popular in the medical spa industry, so to learn everything you need to know, keep reading.

    What is cheek filler?

Cheek filler is an injection into the cheekbone area that is frequently used to restore volume loss and/or define facial bone structure. Commonly used cheek fillers include traditional hyaluronic acid fillers and biostimulants. Different areas of the cheek can be treated for various results!

Is 1 mL of cheek filler enough?

With many treatments in medical spas, an injector might recommend just one syringe of filler at a time; however, when it comes to this area, one mL of cheek filler is not enough. Simply put, one syringe of cheek filler will not achieve a noticeable difference, so more than one mL is typically required to achieve optimal results.

What can be achieved with cheek filler?

Cheek filler can be used in a variety of ways, most commonly used to add shape, structure, symmetry and facial balance. Placement and technique are critical for cheek filler procedures, so it’s important to choose a well-experienced injector. Cheek filler treatments are modified to your specific needs, goals and anatomy. Additionally, cheek filler treatments can subsequently address under eye circles and laugh lines depending on your treated area.

How long does cheek filler last?

As we mentioned earlier, either hyaluronic fillers or biostimulants are used in cheek filler treatments. If treated with hyaluronic fillers, your results will be immediate and on average, will last between 9-12 months. If treated with a biostimulant, your results will take a few months to build and can last for up to two years. A variety of factors impact the longevity of your results, such as your metabolism, how frequently you exercise and more.
Most, if not all, cheek filler patients will require a minimum of two syringes to begin with. Similarly to other cosmetic treatments, optimal cheek filler results are achievable with multiple treatments and maintenance appointments. • Kim Kardashian’s Skin Tightening Secret

    Kim Kardashian’s Skin Tightening Secret

Many times throughout the year, Kim Kardashian takes to her Instagram to share that she loves a skin tightening treatment called Morpheus8. While we do not offer Morpheus8 at Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery, we offer another skin tightening treatment that provides the same results… RF Microneedling! To learn more about this treatment, keep reading.

    What is RF Microneedling?

RF Microneedling is a skin tightening treatment that uses radio frequency energy through fine point needles to deliver heat into the deeper layers of skin. When this heat is administered, it prompts collagen production and skin tightening in that area.

What exactly does RF Microneedling do?

RF Microneedling is primarily used to tighten the skin, in addition to diminishing scarring and stretch marks. RF Microneedling also offers the same benefits as traditional microneedling, such as addressing fine lines/wrinkles, skin texture and more.

    Does RF Microneedling hurt?

Although Kim Kardashian has publicly stated that this skin tightening treatment hurts, we’ve found that our patients say otherwise! At Deux Rosé, we apply numbing cream to our patients one hour before their treatment. When it comes time to begin the RF Microneedling treatment, patients say they typically feel minimal to no discomfort. We want our patients to feel as comfortable as possible when visiting us!

    What areas can be treated?

Generally, RF Microneedling treatments can be applied anywhere on your body. The most commonly treated areas are the face, neck, décolletage, elbows and knees and if you’re like Kim Kardashian, you can’t forget the stomach!
RF Microneedling treatments are safe for all skin types. For optimal results, we recommend a minimum of three sessions of treatments. If you’re ready to try out Kim Kardashian’s skin tightening secret, contact our office at 702-683-2831 or click here to book online. We can’t wait to help you refine your beauty!
