  • Anti-Aging With Microneedling

At Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery we can’t stress enough how skincare treatments and cosmetic injections go hand in hand when it comes to successful anti-aging. One of our favorite facial treatments to combine with your injection routine is Microneedling.

Microneedling treatments address fine lines, textured skin, scarring and promote collagen production. Results from the Microneedling treatments can be seen after just one treatment, but for optimal results, you’ll want to receive three to four sessions.

At Deux Rosé, we use The Skin Pen for Microneedling treatments. It is the only FDA approved Microneedling pen on the market and it’s imperative to ask your service provider if they’re using The Skin Pen if you’re seeing a provider outside of our clinic. This ensures a safe and effective result.

Microneedling appointments take about 45 minutes, half of that time is spent numbing and going over pre and post care information with your service provider. After your appointment, you may experience redness immediately after but it typically subsides after the first 24-48 hours. You can receive Microneedling treatments every four to six weeks, we strongly recommend getting on a consistent service routine for optimal results.

Contact us at 702-683-2831 to schedule your next Microneedling appointment!

  • The Importance of Consultations

If you’re interested in getting cosmetic injections or facial treatments, getting recommendations for your aesthetic goals is crucial. Consultations allow for you to have undivided attention with a service provider in order to create a “care plan” that outlines your goals, how to reach them and the nature of the services you’re interested in. The most important thing to keep in mind is that often, these goals can only be met with consistency. Both cosmetic injections and facial treatments to accomplish a desired result will take more than one treatment and consistent maintenance. Consultation appointments allow the provider to walk you step-by-step as to how results can be accomplished, pricing expectations and a timeline to accomplish all of the above.

Just like most things in life, there is no, “one quick fix” when it comes to beauty treatments and there is not a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to these appointments. At Deux Rose Beauty Refinery, we pride ourselves on being results driven and providing our clients with thorough education about our treatments to set realistic expectations. If you’re considering treatments with us, we highly recommend scheduling a consultation with our experienced professionals!

  • Your Favorite Facial Add-On

    Your Favorite Facial Add-On

At Deux Rose Beauty Refinery, we take pride in our facial options due to their ability  to treat an array of skincare concerns with flexible add-ons for customization. However, one of our most popular facial add-ons is the jelly mask!

What are jelly masks? The official name is a hydro-jelly mask due to their unique composition. Jelly masks come in a powder form and are activated by water thus turning the powder into a jelly-like consistency. The brand of jelly masks that are offered within our clinic are created by the prestigious brand, EstheMax. Jelly masks come in a plethora of options that vary in their benefits. From the Hyaluronic Acid mask to the Egytpian Rose mask, there is a mask for everyone!

Why receive a jelly mask? Jelly masks act as a seal for hydration and infuse the skin with nutrients. Our estheticians can even blend these masks to meet your custom needs. Once the mask is applied on the skin, it is left on for about 10 minutes and then simply peeled back leaving your skin nourished and glowing.

Pair a jelly mask with our HydraFacials or Custom Facial treatments during your next visit for the ultimate hydration.

  • How Does Erbium YAG Laser Work?

    how-does-erbium-yag-laser-work

If we say to you “Erbium Yag,” what comes to mind? A foreign Water Buffalo type animal? Maybe a device that’d hold your water during a long hike? Both of those answers would be totally understandable, but as a medical spa in Las Vegas, “Erbium Yag” clearly refers to skin betterment. More specifically, Erbium Yag is a laser skin treatment. But follow along and we’ll give you all the deets on this funny oddly named skincare treatment. And we promise not to giggle if you can’t pronounce the name correctly, because honestly, we had trouble ourselves.

What is an Erbium Yag Laser Treatment?

An Erbium Yag treatment is an ablative laser treatment that targets water in the epidermis and dermis. Ablative treatments cause damage to the superficial and deep layers of skin. This helps resurface the tissue resulting in improvement of texture, fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, skin laxity, and overall appearance.

Is an Erbium Yag Laser Treatment Painful?

Prior to the start of the treatment, we apply a Tetracaine/Lidocaine numbing cream to patients. Some patients however, may still feel a warm pressure or a warm rubber band snap type of sensation during the treatment.

How Soon Will I See Results After Erbium Yag Laser Treatment?

Results from Erbium Yag Laser treatment can be seen immediately. The skin will look brighter, feel smoother and have an overall more even tone. Additionally, these results will continue to improve as the deeper layers of tissue heal over the next 3-6 months.

How Many Erbium Yag Treatments Will I Need?

While each patient’s desired results may vary, we usually recommend around three Erbium Yag treatments spaced about one month apart.

How Much Downtime is Needed Following an Erbium Yag Treatment?

There is no exact timeline for this, as an Erbium Yag resurfacing treatment can be performed at a variety of different intensity levels, based on an individual’s needs. Because of this, recovery results vary, but usually fall within the 1-3 week timeframe. But we usually recommend patients plan for at least 1 week of social downtime to let their skin heal.

What is Erbium Yag Treatment Aftercare Like?

After your Erbium Yag treatment, we’ll provide you with a petrolatum-based occlusive ointment. This helps the skin hold onto moisture. We recommend using this product for 48-hours post-treatment. Additionally, patients should only wash their face with cool or tepid water and avoid any facial products with retinol/retinoid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or any other chemical exfoliant. Patients should also avoid direct contact with the sun in the first few weeks after their treatment and should always be using SPF-30 or above.

Have questions about this or any other of our injectable or filler treatments? Schedule a one-on-one consultation with one of our licensed nurses to see what treatments might be right for you.

  • All About Laser Hair Removal

    laser-hair-removal
Three words: Laser. Hair. Removal. You’ve been asking for it and we’ve finally added it to our repertoire. If you’re a laser hair removal veteran, you can now enjoy the service under the same roof as your lip filler treatments and custom facials. However, if you’re new to the hair removal world, allow us to drop some knowledge and let you know why our Las Vegas laser hair removal procedure is so important.

    What is Laser Hair Removal?

As its name states, laser hair removal is the process of using a laser to remove hair. At Deux Rosé we use our 810mm laser to target the hair follicle’s melanin. The energy in the laser damages the hair follicle which inhibits or delays hair growth.

    Is Laser Hair Removal Permanent?

While damage to the hair follicle delays hair growth for extended periods of time, it usually doesn’t result in permanent hair removal. Instead, maintenance treatments may be needed.

How Many Laser Hair Removal Treatments are Needed?

While every patient is different, most people need between 6-8 laser hair removal sessions. Hair grows in cycles and the laser only damages the hair follicle in actively growing hair. That is why it takes multiple sessions to target all the hair in each different cycle.

How Long Should I Wait Between Laser Hair Removal Treatments?

Patients should wait 4-6 weeks between laser hair removal treatments.

Who is a Candidate for Laser Hair Removal?

Laser hair removal can be performed on all skin types, although those with darker skin may require more treatments due to the energy levels permitted. The laser targets melanin in the hair follicle, so the risk of damaging the skin is higher when there is less contrast between the hair and the skin. The treatment is most effective on patients with light skin and dark hair.

    Is Laser Hair Removal Painful?

The treatment on its own can cause mild pain, especially in sensitive areas like the neck or bikini area. Most patients describe the sensation as a hot rubber band snap. Because of this, we can apply numbing cream to the area upon patient request.

Laser hair removal in Las Vegas has never been more popular. Hopefully this guide has taught you a thing or two about the treatment, or, at the very least, made you more comfortable about asking questions. Speaking of, don’t hesitate to schedule a consultation for this or any of our injection services

  • What is Sculptra?

    what-is-sculptra

If you’ve only recently heard of Sculptra, we’d like to officially welcome you to the party. Because while Sculptra has been around in Europe since the late-90’s, the injectable treatment only gained FDA approval in 2004, but is finally gaining the recognition it deserves.

Looking for Las Vegas Sculptra services can be a bit tricky, but our trained and licensed nurse injectors got your back (and your face). We’ve put together a few of the most popular questions about Sculptra to hold you over until you can meet with one of our nurses.

    What is Sculptra?

For all intents and purposes, Sculptra is a cosmetic injection that is used to restore facial volume. But the little known super power of Sculptra is its collagen-production that continues to build results long after the procedure. In this sense, Sculptra isn’t like other fillers, because, well, it isn’t a filler. Sculptra is actually a poly-L-lactic acid that promotes skin thickness in areas where hollowness and sunken areas have appeared like the face and buttocks.

    How Long Does Sculptra Last?

While each patient, and metabolism, is different, Sculptra results can last beyond two years. Even after that, because of its continued collagen-production capabilities, most patients only need one treatment a year.

How Long does it take for Sculptra to Start Working?

Like we said earlier, Sculptra is not a filler. Specifically, Sculptra is not a Hyaluronic Acid filler, which means that while you might not see immediate results, your results will be seen over time. A gradual change up to 12 weeks after the injection is typical for most patients.

What are the side effects of Sculptra?

The most common side effects of Sculptra are minor bruising, swelling and redness at or near the area of the injection site.

How Many Vials of Sculptra Do I Need?

While each patient is unique in their individual needs, a general rule of thumb is one vial of Sculptra per every decade they’ve been alive. Obviously this is just a rule of thumb and does not account for excessive volume loss, etc. But our nurse injectors will clear up any questions about vial quantity during consultation.

Sculptra is one of our favorite skin products on the market. To learn more about Sculptra or any of the other services at our Las Vegas med spa, give us a call or book your consultation today!

  • PDO Thread Lifts

    pdo-thread-lifts

We get it. Saggy skin is a capital “P” Problem, and as we age, there seems to be no end in sight. “Run those hills,” they say! “Get that cream,” they shout! Yet, try as you might, the skin continues to sag. This can be even more frustrating once you consider the complexities of a traditional facelift. Well, the struggle bus has made its last stop, because Deux Rose’s popular Las Vegas PDO Thread Lift procedure is here to help.

If you’ve never heard of PDO thread lifting before, think of it like a facelift without the surgery. This increasingly popular med spa procedure can help lift sagging skin around the forehead, jaw line, upper and lower cheeks, brow line, thighs, arms and more. Even better, it’s minimally invasive and non-surgical. People naturally have a ton of questions about PDO thread lifting, so we’re going to answer a few of the most questions below.

What is a PDO Thread Lift?

So what exactly is a PDO thread lift? Our trained and certified nurse injectors begin by injecting Lidocaine at the desired points of injection for comfort before introducing the Polydioxanone (PDO) threads into the skin, muscle or fat. The threads themselves, are medical graded, thinner than a strand of hair and made of various proteins, allowing them to eventually dissolve into the skin. This results in an immediate improvement of the skin as the PDO begins to increase the amount of collagen in the skin.

How Long Does a PDO Thread Lift Last?

PDO thread lift results typically last anywhere from six months to a year, and potentially even longer based on the individual.

How Long Does It Take to See Results from PDO Threads?

While you’ll see the most dramatic results immediately, it may take up to a few weeks for your skin to look more natural.

    Can PDO Threads be Removed?

In a worst-case scenario, yes. However, because PDO thread removal is more of a surgical process, it’s generally not a good idea to remove unless absolutely necessary. To avoid this worst-case scenario, our staff performs a thorough and comprehensive consultation to determine whether you’re an appropriate candidate for a PDO thread lift before the procedure takes place.

Because of its great results and quick turnaround time, you can see why PDO threads in Las Vegas are a growing trend. Click here to book your consultation, or visit deuxrose.com for more information on Las Vegas Botox, injectables or facials.

  • What is Dermaplaning?

    dermaplaning-las-vegas

“What is Dermaplaning?” We get that question a lot. Admittedly, the idea of scrapping our faces with a medical-grade scalpel doesn’t seem all too appealing, so we get it. But don’t let the visuals scare you, Dermaplaning in Las Vegas is very safe. The trained and licensed estheticians at Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery have the skills necessary to give you the fresh, beautiful skin you’ve been looking for.

    What is Dermaplaning?

Our Las Vegas Dermaplaning treatment begins by cleansing the skin with a selected SkinCeuticals skin cleanser before sterilizing the skin with an alcohol wipe. Following this application, Betadine is used to dry out the skin before gently removing the first layer of dead skin and unwanted peach fuzz with a medical-grade scalpel.

What are the Side Effects of Dermaplaning?

Contrary to the visuals, Dermaplaning is very safe. This low-risk procedure offers very few side effects outside of slight skin redness. In rare cases, a small number of patients have developed whiteheads after receiving a Dermaplaning treatment.

Does Hair Grow Back Quicker After Dermaplaning?

Another common misconception, but no, hair does not grow back quicker or thicker after receiving a Dermaplaning treatment. Now, your hair may feel different because the hair was cut straight across, but it is in fact growing at the same speed and thickness.

What are the Benefits of Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning leaves the skin brighter and smoother. With the removal of dead skin, Dermaplaning allows the skin to absorb additional treatments at an increased absorption rate. We recommend pairing a Dermaplaning treatment with a custom facial for best results.

    How often Should you Dermaplane?

Dermaplaning treatments are recommended once every 4 to 6 weeks.
