  • Lip Flips: Everything You Need to Know

    You’ve probably heard the term “lip flip” thrown around before, but do you actually know what it is? A lip flip is when an injector places a few units of anti-wrinkle (Botox, Dysport or Xeomin) along the upper lip, near the border, which relaxes and “flips” the upper lip. When this is done, it makes your upper lip more visible and plump without any filler.

    Lip flips are accomplished with neuromodulator (AKA anti-wrinkle), not filler, so it is important to distinguish between the two. Depending on your specific desires and goals, a lip flip could be the perfect option for you! When the anti-wrinkle is injected above your upper lip, it relaxes the muscle and allows the lip to flip upwards. Anti-wrinkle treatments in your upper lip can also temporarily treat a gummy smile as well.

    Per the state of Nevada, patients are required to purchase anti-wrinkle by the vial. Although it only takes a few units of anti-wrinkle to achieve a lip flip, we recommend receiving anti-wrinkle in other areas as well (such as your forehead, crow’s feet, etc.).   • Our Favorite Exfoliating Product


    Dry skin can be frustrating to deal with and if you’ve ever experienced it, you know what we mean. Dry and dehydrated skin can lead to flaking, rough texture and an increase in the appearance of fine lines, and no one wants that. 

    We recommend exfoliating at least three times per week in order to combat the drudges of dry skin and we have just the product for the job! The Exfoliating Polish by ZO Skin Health is one of our favorite exfoliating products for at home use. The Exfoliating Polish uses finely ground magnesium beads that gently remove dry and textured skin. Using the Exfoliating Polish is easy and can worked into the skin after cleansing. Afterwards, the skin is smooth and radiant. The best part about the Exfoliating Polish is that it can be incorporated into your existing skincare routine.

  • Our Favorite HydraFacial Add-Ons

    If your self-care routine includes getting monthly facials, then you’ve probably heard of a HydraFacial treatment. A classic HydraFacial treatment is a standard, three-step treatment that exfoliates texture, decongests clogged pores and replenishes the skin with antioxidants. However, we always encourage clients to consider add-ons to enhance the benefits of the HydraFacial to meet your specific skincare concerns. Some of our favorite add-ons for the HydraFacial include dermaplaning, jelly masks and HydraFacial boosters!

    How To Treat Your Body Acne

    When it comes to body acne, we offer a few solutions to clear up that complexion. Our first line of defense is chemical peels. But not just any chemical peel. For the body, you’ll want the heavy duty VI Peel to penetrate deep into the layers of the skin to promote healthy, cellular turnover. The VI Peel treatment includes after-care products to take home to ensure the best result. VI Peel also has a branded app that allows the recipient to set reminders, follow the aftercare steps and review FAQ’s. 

    Another solution for body acne is the IPL treatment with blue light. IPL targets the skin with intense pulsed light and the blue light lens is specifically designed to treat acne. This treatment is relatively quick and requires very little downtime with highly effective results. 

    If laser facials sounds like the solution for you, the most advanced laser treatment that we offer at Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery is the Erbium Yag.     Your Skin Tightening Solution

    Taking care of your skin means more than just using the right skincare products. As we age, it is a combination of muscle and fat movement under the skin that causes hollowness or jowling, and depletion of natural collagen production which causes wrinkling, skin laxity (skin sagging) and the surfacing of hidden sun damage. Sounds scary? Well, it doesn’t have to be! The more you understand the aging process the easier it is to treat the causing factors not just the problem itself. 

    Skin tightening requires more than just skincare products or cosmetic injections. In order to combat this particular concern, clients will need to participate in RF Microneedling. RF Microneedling helps with a number of benefits, but the primary benefit being skin tightening. 

    RF Microneedling is radio frequency microneedling. The tip of the handpiece delivers heat into the deeper layers of the skin through fine point needles. The heat results in collagen production and skin tightening. It can also help with diminishing scarring and stretch marks. The RF Microneedling treatment can also be done on the body. Common areas that we see clients needing RF Microneedling are the neck, decolletage, elbows and knees. 

    The RF Microneedling treatment is safe for all Fitzpatrick types and should be incorporated into your anti-aging regimen. On average, clients will need a minimum of three treatments for optimal results but results can be seen after one treatment.

    After three years of clinical operations, Deux Rosé Beauty Refinery is proud to announce that we have expanded into a bigger and beautiful location! 

    If you’re one of our existing patients, you’ve become accustomed to our charming three-room practice located near Historic Downtown Las Vegas. For the past three years, we have turned our little Downtown business into an iconic medical spa in the Las Vegas area. As a result, we have moved into a new location as of June 8, 2021 and have resumed operations! For those who have not seen our new clinic yet, we encourage you to come visit the new Déux. Our new address is 9340 W. Martin Avenue, is double the size of our former home and is truly a testament to how far we have come as a brand.
